Glen, i think that you need to give more importance to the graphs... but the style of the graphs, for their lack of color, is not cohesive with the overall mood of the piece.
Also, use only one bubble style. The best one so far is the one in the middle, because it is not getting in the way of the natural squared form of the graph. Besides, the quality of the lines of the bubble on the right is not very good, it needs lo be cleaner.
Make the character smaller but a little more colorful. It's size is making it compete with the bubbles. Also, the thing on the head of the house looks weird... I recommend that you find that ice bag on the internet, opening it on illustrator and trace it, so the drawing looks more precise. Same thing with the medicine bag and the character hands. Improve the quality of the drawing.
I really like the thought bubbles! Gives it so much more character.
